Description
The Mongol hordes emerged in the 13th century under the leadership of Genghis Khan and became a formidable force. Mongol warriors were excellent horse archers who could dominate the battlefields with their outstanding skills. The Mongol bow was used as their main weapon and played a decisive role in their military success. A stringpad was used on the bow’s characteristic curved end limb, which accelerated the shot, the slightly larger size resulted in a longer draw length and thus provided a more powerful shot, allowing Mongolian archers greater accuracy and range.
